The manipulation of the elements is not all blazing gouts of fire and impenetrable walls of earth. More subtly, simple, practical manifestations can enable a clever manipulator to put his target out of sorts – full bladders, irritating bits of sand, and distracting breezes, and other such distractions can easily give a Terrestrial an advantage at a key moment.

This charm enhances a social attack made by the Exalt, applying a penalty to the Exalt’s target which lasts until the end of the scene. Each elemental manifestation of this charm is a shaping effect which applies a penalty to the target as described below. These effects may be combined with one another, but the same effect cannot be applied to a target twice.

  • Air: -2 internal penalty to Parry MDV and all Integrity rolls.
