Even the mightiest attacks may be turned aside by the certainty of the Lawgivers; whether she wields sword or arrow, the landslide may be held at bay. This Charm is a perfect parry against any attack, even those that are unblockable, but suffers a 1m surcharge against attacks originating within melee range of the Solar. The Solar must be aware of the attack to block it, and must have an Archery-based weapon capable of firing to defend with. Each parry consumes a round of ammunition, but if the weapon used to parry normally costs motes to fire, that cost is waived.

This Charm may be used to enhance a Defend Other action undertaken by means of Distant Guardian’s Intervention, but suffers a 2m surcharge when doing so.

This Charm may be repurchased at Essence 5+ to allow the Solar to pay a 3m surcharge to increase this Charm’s duration to one tick. At Essence 6+, this repurchase allows the extension of the duration to One Action instead for an additional +1wp surcharge. Each parry expends ammunition, as if it were made with Distant Guardian’s Intervention.
